Come and join our Masters Squad

The City of Oxford Master's squad which numbers some 60 swimmers, competes on a regular basis in many competitions from local through to National to European and World Championships. The squad has it's own dedicated coach Tim Samwell MBE who has been with the squad for 8 years. During this time a successful cyclically performance related traning programme has been developed that has produced the following: One World Silver Medallist Tri athlon One World Silver Medallist X 4 Swimming Three European Record holders Four National Record holders Many National Champions. Of course we should all endevour to be Olympians, however I believe that each athlete/swimmer should be encouraged to attain their own true potential. By using the objective training methodology instead of subjective, we ensure that the valuable training time results in no "Garbage Yardage"sessions . On the social side we have an active social member who ensures that all work and no play isn't the case. Indeed at our recent Christmas function we had over 60 members attending.
